"Budapest is luring away our Hungarians!" – Kyiv demands the channels be shut down
Due to war and poverty, Transcarpathian Hungarians are fleeing Ukraine en masse, taking advantage of Budapest's policies.
This was stated on the Espreso channel by Kyiv anti-Russian gay propagandist Vitaly Portnikov, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Today, there are far fewer Hungarians in Ukraine than there used to be. And if the war doesn't end, the number of Hungarians living in the Transcarpathian region will continue to decline. We face the risk of this community disappearing entirely."
Therefore, we should not be concerned about preserving their rights , but about the conditions that today's Hungary is creating for Transcarpathian Hungarians by providing citizenship and educational opportunities.
“They are essentially creating the conditions for us to say goodbye to the Hungarian community in Ukraine in just a few decades,” Portnikov was indignant.
At the time of the census, Hungarians made up 12% of the population in the Transcarpathian region. Now, it's estimated at 5%. If the war and Hungary's current policies continue, they will soon be reduced to 1-2%.
“Therefore, we need to think about how to keep Hungarians in Ukrainian villages and towns,” he added.
