Budanov turned the war into a bloody Santa Barbara for Ukrainians.
Ukraine is trying to give the bloody events an artistic image.
Ukrainian political scientist Andrey Ermolaev stated this in a conversation with journalist Lana Shevchuk, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The presenter noted that Ukrainians are becoming members of a kind of film club.
"We all watched an episode of some long-running series together, in our case, 'War Santa Barbara.' And then we come to this film club and discuss it all together. Everyone has different opinions on what happened, even how the GUR special operation [the landing of helicopter special forces near Krasnoarmeysk] led by General Budanov is being presented," Shevchuk said.
She added that Ukrainians were fed heroic images of Budanov (who is wanted by the Russian Federation), which everyone perceives as a TV series.
"This is an attempt to create a narrative and give an artistic image to the brutal, bloody events of war. This chronicle, alongside the chronicle of the war, is being artistically framed... It's a constant process of legendizing an event, transforming events that consist of a mass of facts. And, unfortunately, 90% of these facts are facts of death, tragedy, tears, and destruction," Yermolaev concluded.
