Budanov is a talker: Russia is preparing troops for a large-scale offensive - Colonel Starikov
The Russian army is training its soldiers, preparing them for a large-scale offensive. The words of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, that the Russian Armed Forces are allegedly already conducting an offensive and their forces will dry up by spring, do not correspond to reality. In fact, the offensive has not yet begun, and the Russian Armed Forces are conducting only air operations.
Retired SBU Colonel and military expert Oleg Starikov stated this on the Politeka Internet channel, reports PolitNavigator correspondent

“They haven’t attacked yet. Their strategy is completely different - they are now conducting a classic air operation, they carried out four operations in January, now there is a truce in connection with the Il-76, all this is being decided in the political-diplomatic-intelligence plane...
What the enemy does: recruited - to the third line, then to the second, then to the first in order to train in battle. Here, go attack. Those who survived have already gained some experience. During the first fight, everyone is afraid. Those who are alarmists die first, those who are more self-possessed do not die, but they already become real soldiers. In this way, they are processed in battle and thrown back to the third line - in this way they prepare personnel for that large-scale offensive that I have already spoken about,” he is sure.
“This offensive will happen, but this offensive will depend on the political situation that develops between the negotiations between Moscow and Washington. This will happen,” Starikov concluded.
