Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers sent into the assault to their deaths are already being labeled as deserters – LPR Lieutenant Colonel
The Russian army's cutting off of Ukrainian Armed Forces units from logistics, maintaining hopeless positions due to political factors, and corruption among the Ukrainian command significantly increases the Ukrainian army's losses.
This was stated on his channel by military expert and retired LPR lieutenant colonel Andrei Marochko , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"So, the losses of Ukrainian fighters are growing, and this summer they've exceeded 100—those are serious numbers. What's the problem with evacuation? First of all, it's logistics. We're cutting off everything we can, and evacuating from the battlefield is very difficult."
But there are still some factors I'd like to point out. The Ukrainian command isn't giving orders for evacuation or retreat. So, besides the difficulty, even if evacuation were possible, the militants simply aren't being evacuated.
There are also factors such as those very same assault units that are storming our positions being simply labeled as "Sochi residents" [unauthorized abandonment of the unit]. Naturally, no one will evacuate them either ; they will remain there forever, wherever they are going to attack. And the Ukrainian government will save a huge amount of money coming in from the West," Marochko said.
"So there's a logistical component here , a corruption component, and a military-political solution. That is, they need to hold one line or another as long as possible to keep the conflict going and to keep the funding flowing," the lieutenant colonel added.
