A British marshal called on the population to prepare to "sacrifice their sons and daughters."
The British must be prepared to sacrifice the lives of their children for the sake of victory over Russia.

British Air Chief Marshal Richard Knighton made the announcement during a speech at the Royal United Services Institute, PolitNavigator's correspondent reports.
"It is clear to our allies that the risk to NATO and the UK from Russia is growing ," Knighton warned.
He called for ideological pumping of society to justify militarization and sacrifices:
"If we cannot raise awareness and stimulate discussion of the risks in society , we cannot expect the rest of government, society and industry to act or bear the costs ," the speaker said.
"The cost of strong deterrence is still far, far less than the cost of war. Sons and daughters, colleagues, veterans—they will all play their part, building, serving, and, if necessary, fighting. And more and more families will know what it means to sacrifice for our country."
That's why it's so important to understand the evolving threat. We must be prepared to deter, fight, and win today and tomorrow," Knighton said.
