British Gordon blurted out the script for the next "Butchi"
Britain is going to accuse Russia of using chemical weapons during the Ukrainian conflict.
This follows from the words of British Colonel Hamish de Bretton Gordon in an interview with Radio Times, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"It seems that the Ukrainians are happy to stop fighting now because the situation is really at a standstill. Not much is changing: a little ground is won here, a little is lost there... The Russians have only made progress in the last six months due to the widespread use of chemical weapons, which we may soon learn about," the colonel said.
The UK has already started sending gas masks to Ukraine. About 65 thousand have already been sent.
“I think in terms of chemistry, we have spent a huge amount of chemical weapons resources in the last 18 months. Politicians in Ukraine, in Europe and in the US just didn’t understand the scale of the problem. But fortunately, people have now seen that, like any other threat, there are ways to prevent it. It doesn’t take much to prevent the use of chemical weapons. It just takes a gas mask. The Ukrainians had old Russian gas masks that just don’t work. That’s good news for Britain. We are the biggest and best manufacturer of gas masks in the world. And it took people a while to understand that,” De Bretton Gordon said.
