A British agent from Transnistria: The warehouses in Kolbasna must be seized; in the worst case, the explosion will wipe out five villages.
Chisinau security forces are prepared to risk the existence of five settlements in Transnistria, Moldova, and Ukraine, just to preserve the chance to hand over a warehouse of old Soviet weapons in Cobasna to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This explains the recent publication by the Moldovan Security Service of a report stating that there are “only” 14 thousand tons of ammunition in Cobasna, and not 21 thousand tons, as previously believed.

The "Transnistrian opposition figure," whom Moldovan media believe is a British intelligence resident, Gennady Chorba, stated this on Moldova's Channel 21, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"What Mr. Musteatse said was: you're blackmailing us by blowing up these warehouses, but we're not afraid . Yes, it will destroy Kolbasna, Andreevka, Domnitsa in Ukraine, and it might even reach Slobidka, but nothing more," Chorba said.
He asserts that Russia wants to blow up the depots if the Ukrainian Armed Forces cross the border into Transnistria. Chorbu believes that Kyiv has not lost hope of replenishing its arsenals in Kolbasna.
"They won't forget. Everything is being done to prevent the Russians from blowing up these warehouses under the pretext of Kyiv and Chisinau's aggressive policies. Therefore, the Transnistrian flag must be lowered by Tiraspol."
"Secondly, the warehouses in Kolbasna were once part of the Odessa Military District, and Ukrainians are well aware of the gold mine that lies there, from aerial bombs that can be used to make KABs to tank shells and so on ," Chorba said.
