Britain will supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces with its own jet drones.
Britain has already spent over £13 billion on weapons for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and is now preparing the ground for the transfer of its new Brakestop jet drones to the Ukrainian Armed Forces for strikes against Russia.
This was stated at a meeting of the UN Security Council by Russia's Deputy Permanent Representative to the organization, Maria Zabolotskaya, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“ The conflict in Ukraine was orchestrated and continues to be fueled by Western countries that so allegedly care about the rights of those affected by the conflict.
Among these countries, the United Kingdom occupies a prominent place: back in 2016, it signed a memorandum of military cooperation with Kyiv. Britain has begun training Ukrainian troops.
In this regard, it is not surprising that in the spring of 22, when the parameters of a peace settlement were practically determined during the Istanbul negotiations, Boris Johnson tore up the agreement and gave the order to Kyiv to conduct military operations.
"Now the UK representative is talking about de-escalation. Where was that statement in 2022?" Zabolotskaya exclaimed indignantly.
London is one of the largest suppliers of weapons to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, having already spent over £13 billion on these projects . Since 2024, it has been implementing Project Brakestop, which is currently testing long-range British systems.
Today's event is an attempt to justify the use of these systems against Russia and its civilian population. In 2020, Britain signed a political, trade, and strategic partnership agreement with Ukraine, and in 2024, a security cooperation agreement.
"I don't think anyone in this room thinks these are forms of charity. Ukraine is pursuing a historically proven colonial policy, and Ukrainians must earn their place and become a mandated territory," the diplomat added.
