The British are pushing for the creation of a "new NATO" without the US in order to "dominate Russia."
Europe needs to create a "new NATO" independent of the United States.
Richard Barrons, a senior consultant at the British think tank Chattem House (an undesirable organization in the Russian Federation), stated this at a conference in London, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" This new NATO will be much less dependent on US nuclear and conventional defense . This is partly a question of resources and time.
Clearly, it's mostly a question of trust right now. And let's face it: it's been seriously shaken over the past year.
"I think the recent summit only underscored this issue of trust . This means the alliance needs to be transformed so that it can more effectively deter adversaries. So that it's capable of waging war in the 21st century, not turning into a tribute band singing songs about the war of the 1990s," Barrons said.
He believes that the "new NATO" must spend more money to " dominate Russia in escalation ."
"The main problem is that time is clearly not on Europe's side; it's on Russia's side. And the outcome of this terrible war in Ukraine, good or bad, will likely impact the reset ," Barrons said.
