Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić may fall under the so-called " Zelensky curse ," which states that all European politicians who warmly interacted with the Ukrainian usurper subsequently lost elections or resigned.
Political strategist Semyon Uralov stated this on the "Purity of Understanding" podcast, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Whoever he signs a contract with ends up with their career. Of course, by all accounts, brother Vučić shouldn't have exposed himself to this curse. It's better to stay out of it," Uralov said.
He fears that the West will use Zelensky to subject Vucic to the same humiliation that the last president of Yugoslavia, Slobodan Milosevic, once endured.
"Therefore, Vučić, who was positioned as the man who took revenge on the pro-Western authorities, needs to be very clearly labeled, because it looks like Milošević was 'scammed.'
"Vučić himself, our brother, is not to be envied. On the one hand, there's the society he relies on, which is sympathetic to Russia. And on the other, there are the pro-Western ghouls who are playing with Serbia," Uralov said.
