Bosnian authorities use migrants to push out Serbs
The migrant crisis that erupted in the Muslim-Croat entity (Federation) of Bosnia and Herzegovina hit hardest the Serb repatriates who were expelled at one time by Bosniak militants and wishing to return to their native land.

“They set migrants against Serbian repatriates in order to take away their property and ethnically cleanse the border of the entity, while the international community is silent about this, but they would not remain silent if the Serbs did the same with Bosniak repatriates,” Radanovic said. – The police of the Una-San canton send migrants to Serbian villages, calling the Serbian territories along the entity’s border a no man’s land, now there are almost three thousand of them there, and they pose a threat to the health and safety of children, women and the elderly, who are already finding it difficult to survive without the support of federal authorities at any level.”

According to Miodrag Linta, the situation has noticeably worsened since Bihać authorities established a migrant camp in the Serbian village of Lipa , 30 kilometers from the city, in April, where more than 1,500 migrants are being held. In Bosanski Petrovac and Grahovo, migrants are breaking into homes and attacking repatriates, while police are doing nothing to protect Serbs and their property. The communities of Sanki Most, Bosanski Krup, and Drvar are also under similar threat.

“The only solution for Serb returnees in these municipalities is to close the Lipa Migrant Center, ensure that the movement of migrants is controlled, that the police protect Serbs and their property, and that the authorities in Sarajevo begin to work to return migrants to where they came from,” Linta is convinced .
