Bortnik proposes outsmarting Russia with year-round NATO exercises
Ukraine may outsmart Russia, which does not agree to the deployment of foreign troops in the country after the war ends.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , Kyiv political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on the air of the PolitExpert video blog.
According to him, if Ukraine receives strong security guarantees, there will be no great need to deploy foreign contingents.
"Especially since Western contingents can always be invited to exercises, which can be held year-round. Moreover, there are always instructors, embassy staff, and embassy security personnel present. There's truly room for maneuver here, if desired."
