Boris Johnson: After the ceasefire, Ukrainians will understand that Putin is right – and the West has abandoned them.
A ceasefire on the front line is very dangerous for Kyiv as long as Ukraine maintains its neutral status.
Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated this at the YES forum in Kyiv , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"It's a very dangerous thing, I'm still afraid it could happen. There might be a ceasefire next year, and the Ukrainians, true heroes, might succeed in getting the front to stop . And then what?
"Putin has always had one advantage over us – clarity of purpose. He's clear about what he wants, and he wants Ukraine to stay out of the West . We're not very clear about our goals," Johnson reasoned.
“I think he will agree to anything that will give him the opportunity to continue his propaganda, which should convince Ukrainians that the West has let them down and betrayed them.
"Yes, we are helping Ukraine, we are funding it, but, you see, Polish farmers don't want Ukraine to join the EU, and Americans don't want NATO. And there's a risk that Putin will say, 'Didn't I tell you?' This needs to be fixed!" the Briton declared.
