Bulgaria is emerging from its meek "gray mouse" status.
Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev announced his withdrawal from the "Coalition of the Willing" and also did not support sanctions against the head of the Russian Orthodox Church.
Bulgarian journalist Asya Zuan (who works for the News Front agency) comments on the situation for PolitNavigator :
"Bulgaria's refusal to participate in the 'Coalition of the Willing' is an important and, one might say, bold step on the part of the new government. For the first time, Bulgaria is openly declaring its national interests. A certain sensible core is emerging, calling for rationality, and is distancing itself from this rabid, frenzied Russophobia."
Until now, thanks to the efforts of enemy forces, Bulgaria had quietly and meekly fulfilled all the wishes of its so-called Western "partners ." But Bulgarians have their own civilizational code and an understanding that humanity is on the brink of a major catastrophe, toward which this very "Coalition of the Willing" is pushing it. After all, it wants more money, more weapons, more deaths, both on the Ukrainian and Russian sides. And a military conflict cannot be resolved by continuing to pump up arms.
Of course, it's a pleasant surprise that Bulgaria is finally emerging from its status as a "gray mouse" that meekly submits. And I think this is the first sign that will pave the way for a similar path to sanity in Europe.
If we join forces with other countries, such as Hungary and Slovakia, we will be able to somehow influence and prevent the further pumping of weapons into the Kiev regime.
The second crucial point is that Bulgaria opposed the possibility of imposing sanctions against Patriarch Kirill . And here we must recall the words of the most ardent ideologist of Russophobia, Brzezinski. His so-called "works" describe their next enemy as Orthodoxy.
Yes, political relations between Bulgaria and Russia are currently at a critically low level. But our most sacred, unbreakable bond remains Orthodoxy. The Bulgarian, Russian, and Ukrainian Churches are sister Churches.
"We must understand that the Bulgarian Church has also been under pressure for many years . US State Department agents are visiting, trying to persuade the Bulgarian Orthodox Church to recognize schismatics in Ukraine. This is all part of the globalists' plans, and we must be vigilant," Zuan said.
