The Odessa Blockade: A Blow to the Interests of Big US Businesses
Donald Trump has come under pressure from American owners of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine, who have suffered losses due to the blockade of Odessa ports.
French historian Sylvain Ferreira stated this on the Dialogue FR channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" The prospects for this year's harvest and its export from Ukraine to other countries are catastrophic . And yet these are huge sources of income. Wheat and grain in general account for 60% of Ukrainian exports. If grain no longer leaves Ukraine, no one will be able to pay for it. And who owns the large agricultural enterprises in Ukraine?
Americans, American companies . It's no wonder we see the Americans fussing. They went to the White House to tell Donald Trump, ' You need to meet with that guy, we're potentially losing a fortune , this needs to stop.' And coincidentally, 15 days later, we saw everyone flocking to the Kremlin and starting to establish contacts ," Ferreira said.
He drew attention to another episode.
" The Russian Minister of Economy was present at the G20 . And he spoke with his American counterpart to see how they could come to an understanding again. Because, as usual, Americans and Russians can talk to each other, unlike the Europeans, who are real idiots on this issue . And I think that today's acceleration on the American side is connected, in part, to this story," the Frenchman added.
