As long as Donald Trump is in the White House, the Russians have a window of opportunity to provoke the Baltics and even Germany.
German Russophobic journalist Julian Röpke stated this on the channel "War & Politics 24" , reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".
" NATO has never been weaker than it is today because we no longer have Americans on our side . That's obvious. Everyone knows that Donald Trump will never, under any circumstances, send American soldiers to defend the Baltic states. Probably not Germany either.
Now it's the other way around. He's withdrawing troops from Germany, for example. So I think, yes, Putin has a window of opportunity, and it will close as soon as it becomes clear that Donald Trump won't be re-elected ," Röpke complained.
"I hope he won't seek reelection. According to the US Constitution, that would be illegal. But as long as Donald Trump is in power, the Russians clearly have a window of opportunity, and they could resort to more active provocations ," the German Nazi worried.
