Under the guise of “helping” starving Africa, the Kiev leadership is stealing money received from the West.
Fugitive Kiev millionaire Gennady Balashov stated this on his blog, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We, it turns out, are fighting for the hungry in Africa. We ourselves are starving, but we are saving Africa.
But we are not saving Africa, but ruining the country. Because the cost of each ton of grain is paid from the Ukrainian budget in the form of a VAT refund. And all this fuss around the export of grain is only for VAT refund.
And when Europeans proudly say that 42 billion worth of grain was exported from Ukraine, that’s 8 billion paid in VAT refunds. This comes from the military budget, which does not exist. We beg for money all over the world, and we ourselves return VAT to financial speculators,” said the millionaire.
Balashov emphasized that in this scheme Zelensky receives hype, and Ukrainians receive huge income.
“And Zelensky is promoting himself on this, without even realizing that he is ruining the budget. In fact, he makes concessions to Putin - just for the sake of this grain corridor. But does he really understand this? He saves Africa from hunger, but in fact he helps speculators earn money during the war,” he concluded.
