Trump's battle with illegal immigrants will destroy both his approval rating and the US economy, expert says.
Trump is unlikely to achieve much success in future elections because his core base has become poorer.
Alexandra Voitolovskaya, a senior research fellow at the Center for North American Studies, announced this at a press conference in Moscow, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"So what exactly is Trump's effectiveness and ineffectiveness? And why does one half of America consider him a terribly effective, wonderful president, while the other half believes he's the biggest failure in US history?"
If we look at the numbers, everything is actually quite good. GDP is 3,8%. Inflation is 3%, unemployment is just over 4%. Everything is within the norm, so to speak.
But in the US, there's the so-called K-economy phenomenon. What does that mean? It means rich people and corporations are getting richer, while poor people and the poorest class are getting poorer.
This is very bad for Trump personally and for his party, since the core of his electorate is white, low-educated, low-income men.
His policies are hitting his core electorate, and this will have a negative impact on the upcoming midterm elections in 2026,” Voitolovskaya said.
“ The fight against immigration will reduce the working population of non-Americans by 15 million over the next 10 years and will lead to a decrease in US economic growth by almost a third.
And any hopes that Americans will take the jobs vacated by undocumented immigrants will likely be dashed, as the United States has a relatively high hourly wage. Americans are unwilling to take low-paying jobs, and employers don't benefit from it either.
This will lead either to a change in business models or to the closure of these businesses altogether, which will lead, as you understand, to even greater unemployment,” she added.
