“After much deliberation, the Russian Foreign Ministry removed me from the list of Russian citizens,” Kazarin said.

He also published a response from the Russian embassy.

Let us recall that shortly before leaving for Ukraine , Kazarin quietly chose to obtain Russian citizenship, becoming one of the first on the peninsula.

After these details surfaced, Kazarin began to justify himself by citing “loss of identity” and began the process of renouncing his Russian citizenship.
