"The incompetent Budanov senselessly killed people in Pokrovsk" – Ukrainian Armed Forces officer
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov (listed as a terrorist in Russia), is a narcissist and incompetent who needlessly destroys people.
This was stated on the Politika channel by a former participant in the punitive operation against the LPR and DPR, reserve Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Yevgeny Bekrenev ("Arty Green"), reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"My personal opinion, and that of the special forces officers I respect, including those from the GUR, is that Mr. Budanov is absolutely incompetent. And his operations are far more detrimental to our defense than their absence."
“At the very least, these valiant, so to speak, operations on Zmeiny Island, on the western coast of Crimea, attempts to force the Dnieper, brought us a lot of grief and zero effect,” Bekrenev said.
He emphasized that the GUR counterattack in Krasnoarmeysk was an equally inept loss of specialists.
" I don't think he's gotten any smarter over this time. He's still the same narcissist and dandy, and his actions are often aimed at PR stunts . He's being groomed for president, or something. But he's viewed extremely negatively as a professional."
"Perhaps he would have been a good group commander there, just as he was a group commander before he immediately rose to the rank of Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate. "In general, this posad should be staffed by analysts, not special forces," the Ukrainian officer reasoned.
