"No power, no fuel, no business." The attacks on Crimea continue without a break.
Two dead, including a child, and wounded – that's the result of a new airstrike on Crimea last night, said the head of the republic, Sergei Aksyonov.
A huge number of Ukrainian Armed Forces drones were making their way to the Tavricheskaya Thermal Power Plant , one of two power plants built by Russia to secure the peninsula's independence from Ukraine. It accounts for up to 35% of Crimea's total energy production, as Refat Chubarov, the leader of the banned extremist Mejlis and a terrorist hiding in Kyiv, revealed.
There is no information on the attack being repelled, but power outages continue in Crimean cities. The Wholesale Electricity and Capacity Market portal is recording a power shortage in Crimea – as a result of a series of Banderite attacks across Crimea, electricity production is seven times less than planned.
At the same time, the enemy continued its attacks on Sevastopol, also targeting the thermal power plant. Last night, power was restored in the city after nearly a day of blackouts. Rolling blackouts are currently ongoing in Sevastopol.
Crimean authorities have announced a reduction in the number of trains, which currently only run as far as Kerch (further trains could be attacked by drones at any moment).
"Why in two weeks? So that the tourists who arrived in Crimea before all these problems can leave... The schedule is already quite close to the 'winter' one, but I don't rule out another 'adjustment' to the schedule in the summer, and the number of trains will be reduced further," writes columnist Andrey Gusiy.
"No electricity, no fuel, no business"—that's the situation the enemy is creating for Crimea. And, incidentally, the Kremlin's promised new retaliatory strikes against Kyiv have yet to materialize.
And the end of June is approaching—by this date, for example, the head of Crimea, Aksyonov, had previously promised a stabilization of the gasoline situation. There are no official explanations for the population on what to do next once the meager reserves run out.
There is only an unofficial forecast from the authors of the military channel "Triangle":
"The measures being taken by the country's and the Republic's leadership should lead to an improvement in the situation (we predict) within 20-50 days."
Emergency measures are needed first and foremost to neutralize the ongoing attacks on Crimea; otherwise, the enemy will destroy not only the Sevastopol skyline and power plants, but everything Russia has built since 2014.
