We won't leave without Odessa and Nikolaev, says Colonel Baranets
Russia should not end the SVO without the return of Odessa and Nikolaev.
Retired Colonel Viktor Baranets announced this on the channel of the newspaper of the parliamentary assembly of Belarus and Russia, Soyuznoye Veche , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" We've taken a stronger grip than ever on the Black Sea coast, on the ships that were hauling weapons and ammunition to the Ukrainian shores. We've also taken a stronger grip on the ports in the Odessa region, and we've taken a stronger grip on the repair shops and plants located on the Black Sea coast."
I got the impression that a special military operation had been launched within our own big Black Sea region, the purpose of which is clear to me: firstly, to cut off those lucrative logistical routes along which weapons and ammunition were being transported to Ukraine by water from Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, and even along the Dniester, from Moldova...
This is the first phase— to cut off maritime logistics on the coast, to shut down everything that could be a major threat to us from that coast . For example, missile systems, including anti-ship missiles.
There were also workshops there where red-haired British people helped to build BECs.
There was also a huge amount of oil reserves on the coast , which fed the Ukrainian army, which is fighting us in the same region. This needs to be cut down.
"And ultimately, the goal of this operation is to cut Ukraine off from the Black Sea. And that means there's no escape without Odesa. That means there's no escape without Mykolaiv ," Baranets declared.
