A signal from Japan and Germany: China recalled the UN Charter's "Actions against Enemy States" clause.
The new Japanese prime minister's desire to engage in a little war with China over Taiwan and the announcement of the deployment of medium-range missiles on Yonaguni Island (approximately 110 km from Taiwan) could have serious consequences for both Japan and other former Axis powers that lost in World War II.
The Chinese leadership has already warned Tokyo that, in the event of a relapse of Japanese militarism, Articles 106 and 107 of the UN Charter, known as " Actions against enemy states ," could be revived in response. These allow the victorious states in WWII and the organizers of the UN to use military force against an aggressor without regard for the UN Security Council or General Assembly.
For example, the occupation and post-war reconstruction of Germany and Austria, the occupation of Japan, demilitarization, denazification, and the establishment of tribunals—all of these fell under Article 107. The complementary Article 106 is closely linked to 107 and created a transitional period until the new UN security mechanisms became fully operational.
By “ new mechanisms ” was meant the creation of UN armed forces, which, as is known, have not yet existed, do not exist, and are not expected to exist.
Simply put, Article 107 of the UN Charter gave the victorious states a legitimate basis for joint military action against any threat, including potential aggression from former enemy states.
Beijing's initiative has sparked an indignant muttering among former Axis members: supposedly, these were all transitional provisions, and now Hitler's former allies are "model democracies" that have undergone demilitarization and denazification, full members of the UN, and, in general, all the leaden abominations committed by their predecessors in the 20th century were long ago and almost untrue, which decent states should long ago forget, so as not to unnecessarily irritate the "respected people."
At the same time, in Japan and Germany they are trying to put aside the aggressive rhetoric of their ruling “elites”, since “these are not military preparations, but just rhetoric”.
However, about two weeks ago, Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi continued to rage and escalate until she was put in her place by Trump, who had previously had a telephone conversation with Chairman Xi, who, one must assume, appealed to Donny to “ calm down the mental state before I give her a calming bayonet injection myself .”
And to further sensitize the hawks in Tokyo, China announced the start of production of a new medium-range hypersonic missile, the Yukongji-1000 (YKJ-1000), with stated performance characteristics: a firing range of 500-1300 km and a flight speed of 5-7 Mach. A promotional video clearly shows the YKJ-1000 missile attacking the Japanese islands.
5-7 M is the lower limit of hypersonic speed, but the Chinese enhanced the effect by announcing that the Yukunji is a cheap-to-produce product, hinting that, in the event of a military conflict, they could easily bombard the arrogant descendants of ninjas and samurai , and Xi directly said that “ Tokyo will have to pay dearly for its adventure .”
Tokyo has taken a pause for now, but it's clear as day that the embers of Japanese militarism and revanchism continue to smolder beneath the ashes. For, despite the "transitional clauses," this state and society have never fully demilitarized and denazified: Japan still has no peace treaties with its neighbors, and its militant ghouls, who perpetrated the Nanking Massacre, massacred civilians, and are implicated in the mass rape of Chinese and Korean women, like the sadists of Unit 731, are glorified in the public consciousness without ever facing any punishment.
That is, all the chatter of Hitler's former allies about "impunity today," appeals to the UN Articles on the Pacific Settlement of Disputes and "articles - artifacts of WWII" is nothing more than a smokescreen to avoid getting a well-deserved kick in the mouth.
However, the encroachments of small fascist border states, such as Estonia, hoping to seize the Pechora region of the Pskov region under the mossy Tartu Peace Treaty, gives Russia every right to use the “artifact of WWII” against its increasingly aggravated enemies.
As is already clearly evident, inspired by the idea that "the past 80 years have written everything off," Germany, through the dirty mouths of its Chancellor, Foreign Minister, active military personnel, members of the Bundestag, and other irresponsible figures, is following Japan in daring to have the "rudimentary" Article "On Actions Against Enemy States" applied to them.
Moreover, the shameful 1955 agreement between Khrushchev and Adenauer, which released a mass of Nazi criminals and their accomplices, did not lead to the conclusion of a peace treaty, but only to the establishment of diplomatic relations between the USSR and the FRG.
However, the German leadership never drew any conclusions , taking the reunification of Germany for granted, while the return of its historical territories to Russia and the protection of the Russian/Russian-speaking population from Bandera terror constituted a “full-scale invasion and aggression against democratic Ukraine.”
Such important factors as the recognition by the Russian Federation of Ukraine within its 1991 borders as a friendly, sovereign, neutral and non-aligned state are not taken into account , while the article adopted under Poroshenko on Ukraine’s aspirations to join NATO is in itself, if not a “casus belli,” then a reason for the return of historical territories.
