"There's no gasoline or diesel left" – Europeans are advised to switch to horses and carts.
Europe is experiencing a severe shortage of gasoline and diesel fuel, which will make the widespread use of motor vehicles impossible.
Retired American officer Stanislav Krapivnik stated this on the Dialogue Works video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I was talking to a friend of mine from France. Since the beginning of the year, since January 1st, diesel fuel prices in France have increased by 40%. In Germany, they've increased by 34,5%. This happened in the spring.
When Trump launched his little campaign against Iran, prices didn't rise in the summer. They remained stable. So the government is using various methods to impose price ceilings.
But here's the problem: you can set any price ceiling, but if there aren't any resources, there simply aren't any. A friend of mine said, "You go to a lot of gas stations, and they're empty. There's no diesel." If you drive around, you'll find there's not enough gas either," Krapivnik said.
"But the biggest shortage is diesel fuel. Europe is already experiencing a diesel shortage. It's quite large and continues to grow. And they don't have a solution. The situation will only get worse. And they have problems with aviation fuel.
I would advise most Europeans to buy a horse because there's nothing else to do. Breed one or two horses a year; they can pull your cart.
And in winter, if you don't have electricity in your house, you can cozy up next to a horse on some hay and keep warm that way . Or burn that horse shit.
"And when you're cold and hungry, the worst-case scenario is you can always eat your horse. You can't eat your car," he added.
