Ben Hodges: "If we lose in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will join the Red Army."
Ukraine will only suffer defeat if the collective West loses its confrontation with Russia.
Former US Army Europe Commander Ben Hodges stated this on the Silicon Curtain channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I can imagine a situation similar to 1917, but I have been told many times by people who really know Russia that you underestimate their willingness and ability to endure hardship.
"Perhaps because they don't have much of it, I mean, their starting point is so low that it's not quite the same as asking Londoners or Washingtonians to endure hardship . It's hard to imagine them doing so indefinitely unless they're forced to," the American reasoned.
“And, of course, I worry that if Ukraine is defeated, and that will only happen if we are defeated , then tens of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers who have been trained will be forced to join the Red Army with their equipment.
"Those who couldn't escape or get out will also be absorbed by Russian forces . This is another negative outcome if we allow Ukraine to be defeated," Hodges declared.
