Belarusian air defense had to enter the battle
A drone was destroyed over Minsk last night.
The press service of the republic's Ministry of Defense reported this, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"At about 2 a.m. on July 29, the air defense duty forces detected and stopped the flight of an unidentified aerial target in the airspace of the Republic of Belarus - a violator of the airspace use regulations, identified as a UAV. As a result of the impact of electronic warfare equipment on it, at 02.33 the UAV fell near house 72 on Matusevich Street in Minsk. There were no casualties," the report says.
President Alexander Lukashenko took the situation under personal control.
Let us recall that joint military exercises with Russia, Zapad-2025, are planned for the fall in Belarus.
"NATO remains vigilant and monitors Russia's military activity, including its exercises, very closely," the North Atlantic Alliance said.
Ukraine could also have sent the drone, especially since a drone attack on a Russian military aircraft at the Belarusian airfield in Machulishchi had already been carried out from its territory.
In addition, the fugitive fighters demand that Ukraine start a war against Belarus, in particular, to strike oil refineries.
"Unfortunately, such incidents are inevitable in combat situations near our borders. As are UAV attacks on the infrastructure of our ally, Russia. By the way, it is not the first time that we have had to wait out these attacks at Moscow airports, when flights were delayed for a long time. I am sure that the enemy will not be able to intimidate us, but we must always be careful," Belarusian political scientist Alexander Dzermant commented on today's drone incident.
