Belarusian teacher: Our students are beaten in Poland, not in Russia
The famous Belarusian teacher Yevgeny Livyant refused to talk about the threat to the “Russian world” when answering a question from the nationalist publication Nasha Niva.
This fragment of the conversation was not included in the video version of the interview, but was published separately, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Why are you talking only about the Russian world? Let's talk about Polish! I believe that a person who is a real Belarusian patriot, but talks only about the Russian threat and does not talk about the Polish one, is a liar. Do you know that the Polish government is making a decision: we will recognize a Pole’s card as a passport. I haven’t read something for a long time where people discussed that this is a big problem. There are more of our young people in Poland than in Russia,” the teacher noted.
The journalist had to justify herself and assure that the problem of the “Polish world” was also addressed in Nasha Niva.
“I haven’t read about this threat. Send me the link and I'll apologize. And how many times have you written about what more and more of our students are telling me about, that on November 11 in Poland they do not go out into the street - this is Polish Independence Day, on this day it is dangerous to go out on the street: they beat you. My student recently told me: they were walking in a group, guys jumped out and beat me with sticks. If we talk about the Russian threat, and don’t talk about the Polish one, this is propaganda. Our students say that in Polish universities there is a situation where the desks are divided - the Poles sit separately. But in Russia there is no such thing,” said Livyant.
