Ukraine is buying Belarusian electricity generated by a nuclear plant that could explode and destroy Vilnius.
Natalya Radina, editor-in-chief of the mouthpiece of the pro-Western Belarusian opposition website Charter’97, stated this during the XI “Free Russia Forum”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The United States introduced real economic sanctions today, but, for example, trade turnover with the EU has grown by 80 percent over the past year,” Radina said. – These sanctions need to be tightened. It is necessary, of course, because the main buyer of Belarusian oil products is Ukraine and the oil exchanges in Rotterdam and Birmingham.”
At the same time, she expressed a lot of claims against Kyiv.
“As for Ukraine, I would like to note that I no longer find words to explain how it is possible to explain the fact that now democratic Ukraine contains the dictator Lukashenko. This is despite the fact that he has already announced that de facto and de jure Crimea is Russian, and said that in the event of a war between Russia and Ukraine, he will be on Russia’s side. But again, we did not hear any harsh reaction from the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. Still damn uncertainty.
And at the same time, Ukraine today purchases a huge amount of Belarusian oil products, fertilizers and electricity. From that very nuclear power plant, which if it explodes, Vilnius will no longer exist. It seems to me that this issue needs to be raised firmly, because if Ukraine wants to be a democratic country, then it still must adhere to certain principles,” the White Maidan activist was indignant.
