The fugitive Crimean “professor-Pushkin scholar” called for bowing to the Mejlis members
“Professor-Pushkinist” Vladimir Kazarin, who fled from Crimea to Ukraine, began to publicly praise the leader of the Mejlis Mustafa Dzhemilev for refusing compromises with Russia in 2014.
Kazarin stated this during a Majlis rally on the Maidan in Kiev, keeping silent that at that time he himself did not show such “perseverance” - he received a Russian passport and worked for a long time at a Russian university in Crimea, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Putin knew that there was a person with whom, if he came to an agreement, everything would work out, and if he didn’t come to an agreement, nothing would work out. He did not seek a meeting with the President of Ukraine, with the Prime Minister of Ukraine, with the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada. Through Shaimiev, he agreed to meet with the leader of the Crimean Tatar people.
And a conversation took place during which, speaking in the language of religion, Shaitan tempted Mustafa, telling him about the privileges that he was ready to give, he needed to persuade him. Nothing came of it, and Mustafa said to his face: “No.”
And today this is silent resistance, which drives them all especially mad, because they are silent, but it is written in their eyes that they will never agree.
Today they are doing this hard work for everyone, for us, for Ukraine, for all the people there, because the Donbass tragedy and everything else began with the attack on Crimea.
I want to say that we must pay our respects to our brothers, and realize that we all have a great debt to them. Let’s remember this and return this debt to them,” Kazarin addressed the audience.
