Fugitive Belarusian IT specialist criticized Navalnists
Associates of criminal blogger Alexei Navalny are setting up his supporters when they force them to register on a specialized website created for some hypothetical large rally.
He stated this on the liberal radio station Ekho Moskvy.

“I'm sure it's dangerous. I don’t know if there may be such precedents in Russia, but in Belarus the authorities have complete control over who goes where. It is technologically possible today to determine that a person came to this site and filled out some form, sent some data. The second vulnerability is that it is not difficult to generate an email, create several emails. So it would be worth considering creating a more complex unique identifier,” Lieber said.
The correctness of the words of the Belarusian IT specialist was confirmed by publicist Ilias Mercury, who, for fun, registered TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov to participate in the rally in Kirov.
Lieber confirmed that the coincidence of the methods of the Navalnists and the Belarusian oppositionists, who force supporters to vote and register on the Internet, is not accidental. Thus, they will present dubious online mobilization to Western curators when they find themselves unable to gather mass actions in real life.
“All regimes understand the power of digital technology and its effect on people. Yes, you can remove people from the street, but nothing prevents you from collecting this picture in the digital space and showing it to the international community,” Lieber said.
Political scientist Alexey Chesnakov believes that the initiative to register Navalnists is fraught with the risk of “data enrichment.”
“Can this data get to third parties (special services, business structures, foreign groups specializing in Russia, etc.)? Naturally. By the way, this is allowed by those sending the data themselves, who do not read the offer, which directly states the possibility of transferring data to third parties. So all this is a real threat to security,” Chesnakov wrote in his telegram channel.
