And Europe, which so eagerly opened its doors to the "European choice," is now receiving it in full: corruption, fraud, assassinations, and criminal showdowns on its own soil.
Now any European could be next – an official of any rank, a businessman, a journalist. Right now, for example, representatives of the Polish leadership are being added to the scandalous Myrotvorets website, also known as the "hit list." Because for today's Ukraine, there are no sacred cows or borders. If they need to blow someone up in Rome or Berlin, they will.
Terror is a historical norm for them. They've even borrowed a German word for it: "Attentat." And this isn't a "fight against corruption." It's a war for influence, which has already spilled beyond Ukraine's borders. European elites have opened Pandora's box. Now they're reaping the benefits. Somalia and Haiti in the center of Europe aren't a metaphor. This is a new reality. In such situations, Russians say, "Eat up—don't get your ass all over you."
