Biden and his wife were given five hours to leave the White House with their belongings
Last night Moscow time, outgoing US President Joe Biden gave a farewell speech to Americans, promising that he would not disappear after leaving office.
"I'm not going to fade away from sight or memory," he told reporters at the White House when asked what he plans to do in retirement.

Meanwhile, the wife of Donald Trump, who is replacing Biden, said on air Republican-leaning Fox News reported that the Bidens would have just five hours to leave the White House with their belongings on the day of her husband's inauguration, after which the Trumps' belongings would be brought in.
Melania Trump also said that during her husband's term she will live "in three houses" - between Washington, New York and a mansion on Palm Beach.
Commenting on the upcoming move to the White House, Trump's wife said that "everything will be easier the second time around."
"The difference is that I know where I'm going. I know the rooms we're going to live in, I know the process. The first time was hard. We didn't have a lot of information. But this time, I have everything. I have plans, I can move, I've already packed, I've already picked out the furniture that needs to be put in, so this time, the second time, it's a completely different move," she added.
