“Biden is afraid of provoking World War III - this is a signal of weakness” - former US ambassador
Washington's constant statements that the United States is not ready to provide more military support to Ukraine are no less a signal of the White House's weakness than indecision on Taiwan.
John Herbst, the former US Ambassador to Ukraine, director of the Eurasian Center at the Atlantic Council, which ensures and serves NATO’s development ideology, stated this on the Dom TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Biden's advice to Pelosi ( Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the US House of Representatives – ed. ) against going to Taiwan is a sign of weakness. It's bad for Taiwan's security and American interests.
"Just like Sullivan's ( Jake Sullivan, US presidential adviser – ed. ) repeated statements that we can't provide more support to Ukraine for fear of provoking World War III. That's also a sign of weakness," Herbst said.
