Russia must now declare that its planes will fly through Ukrainian airspace in the event of aggression against Transnistria, otherwise this unrecognized republic faces destruction.

Former State Duma Vice Speaker Sergei Baburin announced this at the Donuzlav-2017 forum, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Transnistria is now on the verge of a greater danger of destruction than ever before. How can I help him? It is necessary to explain to everyone now that if aggression from Moldova begins, Russian planes must fly over the territory of Ukraine and provide assistance.

Yes, this will formally be a violation of air law. But it's necessary. If we declare this today, there will be no aggression. And if we sniffle into a rag waiting for it to happen, then we may lose the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic, and Russia as a civilization in that region as early as 2017,” Baburin said.
