Authoritarian Belarus turned out to be higher than “democratic” Ukraine in the global rule of law ranking
Ukraine took 78th place in the rule of law ranking compiled by the international independent organization World Justice Project.

The rating was compiled on the basis of eight indicators: openness of the state, law and order and security, limitation of the powers of government institutions, absence of corruption, protection of fundamental rights, regulatory enforcement, criminal justice, civil justice.
The top five rankings include Denmark (first place), followed by Norway, Finland in third place, Sweden in fourth place, and the Netherlands in fifth place.
The Russian Federation took 92nd place in this ranking, Belarus – 57th place. In total, the ranking includes 113 countries.
Let us note that Belarus has the image in the world of an authoritarian and undemocratic state led by “the last dictator of Europe” Alexander Lukashenko. Ukraine is considered a country in which the “democratic revolution” won.
