Austrian Colonel: Zelensky is trying to change horses at full gallop. This is a moment of weakness.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces leadership must replace the dismissed commander-in-chief, Oleksandr Syrsky, as quickly as possible.
Colonel of the Austrian Armed Forces Markus Reisner stated this on air at ZDF, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Ukraine is doing something very bold right now. It's trying to change horses at full gallop , and that's certainly not easy. This needs to be done very, very quickly, because the Russians won't wait and will take advantage of this moment of weakness . From the Russian perspective, this is certainly a moment of weakness ," Reisner said.
He praised the effectiveness of the Ukrainian strikes on Wildberries warehouses, but stressed that they would not go unanswered.
"But the Russians are returning these blows almost 1:1. There are massive attacks on Ukrainian targets... of Nova Poshta, which is an important distributor for Ukraine," Reisner said.
He also announced Russian strikes on energy infrastructure closer to the heating season.
