Australian journalist: CIA and MI6 are in conflict over Ukraine
CIA Director John Ratcliffe flew to Moscow to discuss the details of the peace plan and ways to force [dictator] Volodymyr Zelensky to agree to its implementation.
This was stated on the Dialogue Works podcast by Moscow-based Australian journalist John Helmer , who owns his own news agency, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"According to my sources, Ratcliffe's plan had a specific goal: the CIA would ensure Zelenskyy's terms of the agreement were met . Now, this doesn't necessarily mean the CIA will assassinate Zelenskyy or get rid of him, as the CIA organized in South Vietnam—first by assassinating President Ngo Dinh Diem and then finally removing a number of South Vietnamese generals who had ruled the country as long as they could, until they were defeated," the journalist said.
This caused friction with the Europeans, he said.
"Ratcliffe's proposal was to take care of Zelensky. Now this puts the CIA in conflict with the Europeans, especially MI6 , which has a different vision of succession," Helmer believes.
