Avakov presented his strategy for Donbass to the Americans
Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov presented the "Small Steps Mechanism" strategy for the so-called "deoccupation" of Donbas to the American delegation of the Atlantic Council, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
“The introduction of a new strategy is preceded by a preparatory stage - the formation of the necessary legal framework, the introduction of a communication strategy, the determination of the status of the Special International Peacekeeping Mission, the creation of monitoring programs, advisory and resource assistance,” the message says.
Previously, the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that the “de-occupation of Donbass” should begin with a police peacekeeping operation in the region.
