Atlantic Council: Russia Will Soon Attack NATO
Russia could "attack NATO" in two years.
Atlantic Council member Franklin Kramer stated this at the presentation of the fourth issue of Defense Journal, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"I don't think anyone knows exactly what Mr. Putin might do, but there are concerns that in the next two to three years (different people say between two and five years), we could see some actions directed against the Alliance. It all depends on what happens to Ukraine ," Kramer said.
He believes that increasing NATO member states' defense spending to 3% of their GDP does not solve the security problem.
"Over two years, even if an agreement is reached at the summit this summer, it will be very difficult to spend 3% to make this an effective military capability. Therefore, I think the Alliance needs to think about how to gain additional capabilities more quickly ," Kramer said.
