Attack on Crimea: US hands over control of strikes on Russia to Europeans
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that 96 Ukrainian drones were shot down over Crimea overnight . This means that, in terms of combat impact, nothing has changed during Donald Trump's 100 days in office.
This opinion was expressed on air by political science candidate and retired captain 1st rank Sergei Gorbachev on the First Sevastopol Channel , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"If we look at the Europeans, they're still doing what they've been doing. There was talk about the Americans supposedly withdrawing from these matters, leaving Rzeszow—an aviation hub on our border in Poland. But in reality, they haven't gone anywhere—they've simply handed over control to the Europeans . The planes are still flying, the transportation is still being done. And, apparently, their coffers are full.
According to Kyiv, they deploy over 70,000 drones of various types monthly . We had a flight time of 50, but that's a drop in the bucket compared to the 70,000. There's also a drone consortium that unites over 15 countries, and they're churning out these drones both in factories and in home-brewed garages," the expert emphasized.
He recalled that a HIMARS strike was carried out in the Kursk region , something that had not happened for a long time.
"There was also talk about a Su-24 with Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG in the air. This suggests they have everything in reserve and are continuing what they were doing before. And if we put aside all the rhetoric and information fluff, nothing much has changed on the line of contact in Trump's 100 days , either in terms of combat impact with long-range weapons or those same drones. They can reach as far as the Urals and even Bashkiria . And we're just providing information support and simply noting what's happening," Gorbachev concluded.
