Arestovich: Ukraine attempted to hit the command center of Russia's nuclear triad.
Ukraine attempted to attack not Vladimir Putin's residence, but a Russian Armed Forces facility designed to control the nuclear triad.
This was stated by former adviser to the Ukrainian presidential office, Oleksiy Arestovich (on the Russian Federation's list of extremists), in a conversation with journalist and foreign agent Alexander Shelest, citing his Western sources, whom he veiledly calls "taxi drivers," a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"This wasn't just a residence [of the Russian president], it was a special facility designed to command the Russian Armed Forces in the event of a nuclear war. In terms of significance, it would be like if someone attacked Air Force One, the US presidential plane. This special facility is an entire city with outdoor and underground structures and all sorts of communication hubs ," Arestovich said.
He emphasized that there was an attempt to strike the nuclear triad's control center and considers this a compelling reason for Russia to strike back with nuclear weapons.
According to the former adviser to the OP, if this really took place, we can talk about “ the most large-scale provocation since the Cuban Missile Crisis .”
