Arestovich: Everyone is lying about the war, starting with the platoon commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
A total system of lies has been created in Ukraine.
This was stated by former Zelenskyy Office adviser Alexei Arestovich, who has been added to the Russian Federation's extremist registry, in a conversation with foreign agent Yulia Latynina.
"The government creates this system, and it's replicated all the way down to the commander of a separate rifle cell, who reports to his squad leader or platoon commander that everything is fine, we're holding [their position], even though they're no longer holding it. And so it's replicated all the way up to the supreme commander," said the former OP adviser.
According to him, everyone thinks that the recently dismissed head of the Zelensky office, Andrei Yermak, distorted information for his boss at the last minute.
"No, it was distorted, starting with the rifle platoon. Yermak is simply responsible for the creation of this system, for not stopping it in time, for not building a different system.
The most astonishing fact is that, for almost four years of war, Russia has made a gigantic effort to change its style, manner of fighting, logistics, and so on. They're constantly changing something, making it worse, worse, experimenting, succeeding, failing, and so on.
"We've already surpassed Ukraine in drones—in quality and quantity, which seemed impossible. Our guys haven't done anything at all during this time. Not a single strategic decision was made because they were happy with everything. They were getting money—truckloads. Why change?" Arestovich explained.
