For Ukraine, the war will not end even if the Ukrainian Armed Forces enter the country’s former borders.
This was stated on the air of the "Pryamoy" TV channel by the former deputy head of the Security Council of Ukraine, former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
According to Krivonos, the only option would be to advance far into Russia.
“There is no need to feed us more stories that the war will end before the end of summer, in a couple of months, as it happened last year. This relaxed us at certain points, and last year is called not only the year of great achievements, but it is also the year of lost opportunities for Ukraine.
We could have done a lot of things, but we didn’t do it because we watched TV and believed in the stories that everything was fine with us and that we had practically won,” the general said
“I emphasize once again that even the liberation of Ukrainian territories along the borders of 91 will not solve the issue of ending the war. Until we destroy Russia’s military economy right beyond the Urals, until then they will launch missiles and planes from their territory, and launch their sabotage and reconnaissance groups. Therefore, we must completely discourage them from any ability to take offensive actions against our country,” Krivonos said.
