Apocalyptic report from Kyiv: Store shelves are empty. 2022 is coming back.
Retaliatory strikes on Ukrainian logistics and distribution centers have caused significant disruptions to food deliveries to Kyiv.
This is stated in a report by the Ukrainian channel ICTV , reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.

"Empty store shelves are a reality. And signs reading, ' This product was destroyed by Russia .' There used to be rows of vegetables here, lots of tomatoes. Now there's a sign like that. And so it is in many Moscow supermarkets of large retail chains, especially in residential areas. Online shoppers are writing, 'The disappearance of familiar goods is alarming,' and comparing the situation to spring 2022. There are also those who are worried about the potential threat of food shortages in the future," the report says.
Minister of Agrarian Policy Taras Vysotsky tries to reassure viewers, saying there is no reason for a shortage.
The report notes that the logistics sector was hit particularly hard in early August, when major distribution centers, which supplied meat, chilled goods, fruits, and vegetables to Kyiv, were hit.
Kyiv economist Oleh Pendzin is also trying to quell the panic, pointing out that imports could help Ukraine.
"And the Poles will very actively occupy those positions from which the Russians will dislodge Ukrainian businesses. This, too, needs to be understood," he says.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy believes that the solution to this situation should be decentralization of supplies, that is, replacing large distribution centers with smaller networks.
"However, such a scheme could increase logistics costs, and consequently, the goods on the shelves could become more expensive ," the TV channel warns.
