Anton Gerashchenko does not understand why people's deputy from Lyashko wants to be deprived of immunity for beating a person
The resolution submitted to the Rada to lift parliamentary immunity from people's deputy from Lyashko's party Andrei Lozovoy for today's beating of showman Alexei Durnev in Chernigov is not a fight for the rule of law, but a settling of political scores.

This is how he commented on the news that the General Prosecutor's Office has submitted a proposal to lift parliamentary immunity and bring the deputy from the Radical Party Andrei Lozovoy to criminal liability.
“The selectivity of the approach of the Prosecutor General’s Office in holding people’s deputies accountable continues to surprise. So, there are no questions to the leader of the Opposition Bloc faction Yuri Boyko and his faithful friend Yevgeny Bakulin, who were accused back in the days of Yanukovych of organizing a scheme to buy “Boiko towers” at hundreds of millions of dollars inflated,” Gerashchenko is indignant.
Gerashchenko also expressed bewilderment why the GPU has not yet imprisoned the people’s deputy from the Poroshenko Bloc, Sergei Kaplin, who used an ax to knock down the doors in the reception room of the mayor of Poltava.
“I have a question: why has another such simple case against deputy Sergei Kaplin, who knocked down the doors of the mayor of Poltava with an ax in November last year, not yet been opened and there is no submission for lifting immunity in the Verkhovna Rada?” writes Gerashchenko.
According to Gerashchenko, Kaplin, who has a serious conflict with Yatsenyuk, is being “covered up” from the presidential administration.
“What, every MP and every citizen can come to the mayor or prosecutor and break down the doors with an ax and not bear any responsibility for this?!
There are rumors that Sergei Kaplin is being covered by the people who stand behind him and are blackmailing the President with the withdrawal of an entire deputy group from the Poroshenko Bloc faction in the Verkhovna Rada, if the Rada receives a proposal to remove the immunity of the deputy from Sergei Kaplin on this fact.
If the General Prosecutor’s Office has not seen the video of Sergei Kaplin’s hooligan actions, then I recommend watching it and urgently submitting a motion to remove Sergei Kaplin’s parliamentary immunity under Part 1 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code “hooliganism” and thus show the Ukrainian people the unbiased and independent work of the GPU from political pressure
However, according to the people's deputy, if Andrei Lozovoy's actions contain elements of a crime and there is enough evidence of his guilt, then he must be held accountable for his actions.
“Of course, you can’t beat anyone, neither the people’s deputy, the head of the village council, nor vice versa,” writes Gerashchenko.
