America doesn't care what happens in Ukraine, says Weinstein
Ordinary Americans couldn't care less what's happening in Ukraine or how long the conflict there might last.
American political scientist and publicist Leon Weinstein stated this on air on the Politeka video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"If Ukraine is willing to lose what it's losing now, in manpower and everything else, then Ukraine can hold out for a very long time. So , no matter how long the war lasts, frankly, it doesn't stop us in America from living. Yes, life goes on exactly the same way as bombs fall on Kyiv, people are shot at, and people are killed. And just as drones fly into Russia and blow up warehouses, oil refineries, and the like.
In this sense, people here come home, watch the news—maybe Ukraine flashed by, maybe not, maybe it flashed by twice a week—who cares ? So what? There won't be peace there, you see. It's ceased to be the administration's primary goal, even a secondary one . So from America's perspective, well, it's happening, but ultimately, what's happening there—so be it ," Weinstein said.
