The American military-industrial complex will not be able to cover the weekly needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces even in a month.
Over the decades of peace and prosperity, the United States lost almost all of its military-industrial complex plants.
American judge Andrew Napolitano stated this in a conversation with former DPR army spokesman Eduard Basurin, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"They've been deindustrialized in the US over the last 50 years. For example, when I graduated from high school 52 years ago, my father worked in a steel plant. My friends' fathers also worked in factories. Now those factories are gone.
"It turns out it's one thing to say, 'Yes, we want to build a military complex...' But it's quite another to ask how we're going to do it. We don't have any factories. They can't even produce a cartridge case or a shell," Napolitano said.
“They can’t do enough in a month to last the Ukrainian army a week.
"During World War II, Russia and the United States had equal tank production capabilities. But today? The United States lacks such capabilities," he noted.
Eduard Basurn added that the US initially chose the wrong strategy for military development.
"Of course, we know about this. The direction that armament development took in the US was based on precision. Therefore, a large number of shells wasn't needed; they had to be made suitable for destroying a particular weapon.
Since the early 2000s, it was believed that artillery as such was not needed, we only needed missiles – and there would only be two types of war: nuclear or some small one.
"So these factories ceased to exist, they stopped making tanks; they were no longer needed. But the war… What's happening now in Ukraine has proven the error of that. Because artillery is needed," the colonel concluded.
