The American shutdown hits Ukraine – the suffering of the oligarch who fled from Zelenskyy
The current American shutdown – the suspension of funding for government agencies due to the inability to find a compromise in Congress – has already had an impact on Ukraine.
This was stated on the Espreso TV channel by disgraced former Verkhovna Rada deputy and oligarch Konstantin Zhevago, who fled to France and whose extradition the Kyiv regime is seeking, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He says funding problems have started in the US military, which is why air traffic control at airports cannot accept planes from US military bases carrying weapons to Europe for subsequent transfer to Ukraine.
“ We are suffering greatly, even physically, from the fact that we can no longer receive certain ammunition , we can’t receive certain information, not only that which is very important for our survival,” the oligarch notes.
According to him, a number of American agencies that provided assistance to Ukraine in a number of areas, including non-military ones, were left without funding.
"In this secondary way, both Ukraine and other countries are losing money. This means that other countries that perform functions for us, be it Slovakia or Poland, the Scandinavian countries, or any European countries, in turn, are unable to do anything for us that was planned," Zhevago laments.
