US General Demands NATO Contingent to Be Brought into Ukraine
If Ukraine does not become a member of NATO, then a contingent of the North Atlantic Alliance should be introduced into its territory.
This was stated by the former commander of US forces in Europe, General Ben Hodges, on the air of the video blog The Cipher Brief, reports the correspondent "PolitNavigator".

«There are no guarantees other than NATO membership. I have seen and heard many different options of how this could be implemented, even if part of Ukraine is still occupied by Russia. I think, in the end, unless you have American troops on the ground there or some European force that looks like they can beat any Russian formation, which can attack because the Russians will definitely check it.
And then, you know, we there is no need for a bunch of guys in blue helmets from some other continent who are thereThey will not be treated with respect. They rarely are. It should be similar to the NATO forces that were introduced into Bosnia in 1995.. But the Ukrainians are not going to sit back. I mean, they know they weren't prepared for a full-scale invasion in 2022.
I was in Kyiv about 3-2-3 weeks before. And Kyiv didn't look like a city that was preparing for war. So this time I'm thinking when and where the fighting would stop. The Ukrainians will very quickly begin to restore, improve and build up their army, defense industry and solve all the problems that they have now in order to become that porcupine that Russia will not want to attack in three years.“When Russia itself solves all its problems,” Hodges said.
