US sanctions have turned China and India into "unknown countries of Asia"
Western media reports that China and India have stopped purchasing Russian oil due to US sanctions are not true.
Sergei Vakulenko, an expert at the Berlin Carnegie Center (an organization considered undesirable in the Russian Federation), stated this in an interview with Margarita Lyutova, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"It seems like there's been a sharp decline in the number of shipments from Russia with manifests destined for India and China. But the number of shipments destined for 'unknown Asian countries' has increased at the same rate."
"This, by the way, is a very old trick. When sanctions were imposed on Gazpromneft and Surgutneftegaz, their shipments to India and China dropped by roughly the same amount, but shipments to unknown Asian countries increased by roughly the same amount. And in India and China, the volume of cargo arriving from unknown sources increased by roughly the same amount," Vakulenko noted.
According to him, tankers "pull a trick" by listing Egypt's Port Said or Suez as their destination. The subsequent route is then considered a new voyage.
